- Pharisees criticize them, claiming it's unlawful on the Sabbath.

- Jesus refers to an incident involving David when he and his companions ate consecrated bread.

- He mentions priests working in the temple on the Sabbath without guilt.

- Jesus declares something greater than the temple is present (referring to himself).

- Quotes Hosea 6:6, emphasizing mercy over sacrifice.

- Jesus asserts his authority as the Son of Man, stating he is the Lord of the Sabbath.

Matthew: 9-14: The Man with a Withered Hand

- Jesus enters a synagogue where there is a man with a withered hand.

- Pharisees question if it's lawful to heal on the Sabbath, intending to accuse Jesus.

- Jesus justifies doing good on the Sabbath using the example of rescuing a sheep.

- He heals the man's hand, provoking the Pharisees to plot against him.

Matthew: 15-21: The Chosen Servant

- Jesus withdraws but heals many, warning them not to make him known.

Matthew: 43-45: The Return of the Unclean Spirit

Matthew: 46-50: The True Family of Jesus
